I take a warm pragmatic approach to therapy which is individually tailored to each person’s unique circumstances and challenges. I support clients to connect with their strengths and best intentions in meeting their therapy goals.

Training

I qualified as an occupational therapist in 1978 and as a psychotherapist in 2010. I have also trained in a range of mental health interventions, including attachment and mentalisation based therapies.

I am registered with AHPRA and am a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Work History

I have over 35 years experience in the public health sector, working initially in acute hospitals and then in community based settings, in organisations including Southern Primary Health Network, Disability SA and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

From 2013 until 2020 I worked as an infant mental health specialist in a therapeutic reunification service at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, providing assessment and therapy for harmed infants and their parents/ carers.

I have maintained a private practice since 2009, working with people of all ages and a variety of life concerns
